Everything began with a dream: creating my own house in Bali, close to the waves
I wanted a place that felt majestic, with high ceilings and generous spaces. A place that respected local traditions, drawing from centuries of Indonesian craftmanship and vernacular architecture designed for tropical living. A house that was social and inviting, where friends and family could gather around a large terrace or share moments through a bar-style kitchen window. A space that was entertaining, with a pool table and a projector for long evenings. And above all, a home that was sustainable, built from natural materials and centered around a salt-water pool.
The result exceeded my expectations. It became in my eyes a living example of how tradition, comfort, and design can meet.
Today, the project has grown into more than a single home: we are now building a second villa, right next door, with the same philosophy and characteristics.
